David Mead - Chartered Legal Executive

David is a very experienced Chartered Legal Executive specialising in the drafting of wills, administration of estates of varying complexities, lasting powers of attorney, deputyship matters and non-contentious probate matters. David always aims to provide clients with an excellent standard of client care and is very client focused.

He is able to see clients at the office, but he also offers appointments by Zoom etc or home visits are also a possibility depending on location.

He has in the past dealt with more complicated issues such as lost Wills (or family members cutting bits out of existing Wills).

Originally from the Westcountry he moved to Essex in 2016. In his spare time, he trains in a variety of martial arts and is also the cameraman for Essex’s only men’s Gaelic Football team.

David is conscious that when people come to see him it is usually when they are at a low point in their lives i.e. suffering a bereavement or a family member (or even themselves) suffering a terminal illness or a lack of mental capacity. It is satisfying being able to help people in such circumstances. Moreover, in this day and age of social media, the soaps and the ‘man down the pub’ it is not uncommon to see clients come to appointments with misguided perceptions about how the law in this area works. It is enjoyable to allay people’s fears or advise them on the next stages to take.
