Arlene Small - Counsel

Arlene became a barrister in 1997 and has now become a dedicated specialist in the field of family law.

She has a wealth of experience in all levels of Family Court including the Court of Appeal, and in 2021 was part of the team that received an award for Family Law Case of the Year 2021 for the landmark decision of Re H-N and Others (children) (domestic abuse: finding of fact hearings) [2021] EWCA Civ 448

Arlene specialises in all aspect of Family Law including Pre-Marital Agreements, Divorce, Family Finance, Cohabitation Claims, Injunction Orders, Child Arrangements Orders, Child Financial Claims, Care Proceedings, Adoption, Extended family applications.

She is incredibly passionate about helping her clients and will often ‘go the extra mile’ to achieve this. Arlene is also willing to travel as well as see clients remotely where requested.
